Getting Ready to Record

Do you or anyone on your team have prior experience with recording? The studio is set up well to plug-and-play with your laptop and a USB cord, as long as you know the basics.

our Equipment

recording in person

The RØDECaster Pro records via USB into a laptop with recording software, and/or onto a microSD card. Check out the guide for how to get started with the RØDECaster Pro here. Get all types of walkthroughs for multitrack recording here. Find microSD card type recommendations here.

recording phone Calls

You can use web-based recording software, like Zencastr, Riverside, or Descript to bring callers in. Free ones include GarageBand for Mac and Audacity. You can record a phone call either through aux cable or connect the phone via bluetooth. More info on that here.

engineering

If you would like in-studio engineering and production help, that is offered at an hourly rate. With an engineer in studio, we record into a DAW and give you an mp3 or wav file at the end. Please contact Nick Patri for more information if you would like this service.
